In Sahiwal, , 18 children were rescued from the illegal custody of an unregistered . The operation was carried out by the Child Protection Bureau.

Chairperson Sarah Ahmed confirmed the recovery and said the condition of the children was poor. She revealed that they had suffered abuse while in custody.

Punjab Chief Minister has said that when profits go beyond fair limits, it is her duty to stop them. She stated that money earned through never brings blessings. According to her, bribe money comes quickly but also disappears quickly.

Addressing the passing-out parade of the Punjab Enforcement and Regulatory Authority, she urged officials to promise that they will never take bribes. She said that businessmen should earn fair profits. She added that wheat and flour prices must remain as per the government’s rate list.

is stepping up efforts to expand its economic engagement with , with a particular focus on the pharmaceutical, automotive, and mineral sectors, the Ministry of Commerce announced.

The move comes in the wake of a networking session held in Dhaka between the Dhaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DCCI) and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI). The event was attended by Ihsaan Afzal Khan, the Prime Minister’s Coordinator on Commerce, who represented Pakistan.

During discussions with DCCI President Taskeen Ahmed and other Bangladeshi business leaders, Khan highlighted the growing momentum in commercial exchanges between the two countries.

has voiced strong support for international efforts aimed at ending the conflict. The call came from Syed Tariq Fatemi, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs, during a session of the UN Security Council.

Fatemi said the war has continued for more than three and a half years. He noted that thousands of innocent lives have already been lost. “No dispute can be resolved through the use of force,” he told the Council.

The government has announced that it will distribute free pink electric scooters to women, including female students, starting this week.

The decision was finalized in a meeting chaired by Provincial Transport Minister Sharjeel Memon, attended by the Transport Secretary, the Managing Director of Sindh Mass Transit Authority, and other senior officials.

Speaking at the meeting, Sharjeel Memon said the initiative aims to provide women with a safe, affordable, and dignified mode of transportation. He added that the scooters would help reduce travel expenses and save time for working women and students.
