The 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗠𝗮𝘀𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼 & 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘀 𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗮 𝗦𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗲𝘁𝘆 proudly hosted 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗥𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗼 𝗗𝗮𝘆, bringing together students, faculty and industry professionals to celebrate the impact of radio in shaping societies and delivering authentic voices to the world.

Students from the 𝗠.𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹 presented documentaries covering the 𝗽𝗮𝘀𝘁, 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗳𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 of Radio Pakistan, highlighting the passionate life of a radio broadcaster.

The Department of Mass Communication and Leads Media Society proudly organized a celebration in honor of UMT winners who represented our department at the UMT Competition – SMCS Fiesta.

We were privileged to have Dr. Rafaqat Ali, Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences, as the Chief Guest, who applauded the dedication and achievements of our talented students. He also appreciated the efforts of the Leads Media Society for organizing such a wonderful event.

A special thanks to Dr. Hilal Fatima, Head of the Department of Mass Communication, for her presence and support.

The vibrant talents of 𝗟𝗮𝗵𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘀 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 proudly represented their institution at the 𝗦𝗠𝗖𝗦 𝗙𝗶𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗮 organized by 𝗨𝗠𝗧. Members of the Leads Media Society participated enthusiastically across all categories, showcasing their dedication, creativity, and passion.

A special moment of pride came when 𝗠𝗼𝗵𝘀𝗶𝗻 𝗔𝗹𝗶, the Head Reporter of LMS, secured **𝘀𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲 in the Live Podcast Competition**, demonstrating exceptional skill and confidence. His achievement highlights the unwavering commitment of the Leads Media Society to excellence and innovation in media.

An informative seminar “Media Ethics and Law” was organized by the (Leads Media Society) Department of Mass Communication, Lahore Leads University. The guest speaker was, Director General Pakistan Electronic Media Authority, (PEMRA) M. Ikram Barkat.
The honorable guest discussed Media Code of Conduct 2015, defined and explained the laws about misinformation and disinformation and Media laws in the Pakistan Penal Code. He further explained to the audience that ethics depends on religion, language, law, culture, customs and values.
Honorable Chairman LLU, Mian Zahoor Ahmad Wattoo and Vice Chancellor Dr. Nadeem Ahmad Bhatti thanked the guest speaker for visiting LLU.

We are warmly invited to join Seminar (Media ethics and law ) as we all using social media apps and there is huge gape of awareness among all of us. We need to know Terms and conditions of PEMRA regarding social media.
