Pakistan has received its largest-ever shipment of crude oil from the United States, marking a major step forward in energy cooperation between the two countries.

The vessel MT Pegasus, carrying one million barrels of West Texas Intermediate crude, docked at Cnergyico’s offshore terminal in Balochistan today.

This is the first commercial import under the new Pakistan-US trade framework and signals the start of long-term energy collaboration. Industry experts say the deal will help diversify Pakistan’s energy sources and strengthen trade ties with Washington.
