We at FINTRA would like to keep it informal, (we don’t want to turn our fun sessions into boring monologues) where you can ask what some might consider lame questions without being judged. We would take you step by step into the cryptic and mysterious world of finance. Buckle up! Weekly ‘Mastering the Market’ Panels
So you want to beat the market? With the help of some experienced investors on campus (yes we have a few), we will go through market news and individual company data to research and analyze stocks, increasing your understanding of the stock market. Professional Speaker Sessions
So what if you want to work in investment banking and know nothing about it? FINTRA will arrange frequent talks by industry professionals ranging from talks by investment bankers to money-managers, stockbrokers to Charted Financial Analysts. You can talk to them; ask them about their jobs and what it takes to become one of them. Online Trading Competitions
To enhance your trading skills, we will host trading competitions on real platforms with real time market data. The technical department of the society will guide you to ensure all participants have a valuable learning experience
Real Trading
We know many of you have experienced simulation stock trading and now want to graduate to the real thing. FINTRA will facilitate you becoming a real stock trader. We will arrange sessions on account opening with leading brokerage firms, who will guide you about the ins and outs of the real processes involved in account management as well as in the execution of trades.
