More Than a Film… ‘PSYCHO’ is Becoming a Conversation People Relate To
“Is it really us… or our mind?” Upcoming Pakistani film *Psycho* is beginning to attract attention for an unusual reason , not just its cast or story, but the conversation forming around it. Instead of conventional film promotion, *Psycho* is being discussed as a conversation around human behaviour, perception, reactions, and the way thoughts quietly influence decisions in everyday life. From podcasts and celebrity conversations to university discussions and public interaction spaces, the film is gradually turning into a wider discussion on how people think, react, and cross boundaries without even realizing it. Punjab University’s Film & Mass Communication departments are also exploring the project through discussion and activation-based engagement, something rarely seen around a Pakistani film release. With audiences increasingly connecting to themes like overthinking, perception, desire, control, and reaction, *Psycho* is positioning itself as more than just cinema. but as a thought people may already see within themselves. The real enemy lives in the mind. Releasing this Eid-ul-Adha.
