Prophet Muhammad (Islamic Religious Figure)
Born Around 570 CE in Mecca (in present-day Saudi Arabia).
Tribe: Quraysh.
Early Life: Orphaned young; known for honesty and insight. Worked as a merchant.
Revelation: At age 40, Muslims believe Muhammad received revelations from God through the angel Gabriel. These revelations continued for about 23 years and were later compiled into the Qur’an, Islam’s holy book.
Message: Strict monotheism (belief in one God), social justice, charity, moral conduct, and equality.
Opposition: Many Meccans resisted his teachings at first, leading to tension and persecution of early Muslims.
Migration (Hijra): In 622 CE, he and his followers migrated to Medina, marking the start of the Islamic calendar
