Off-Grid Power Solution
We're excited to share our latest off-grid power system, designed to provide reliable and efficient energy for remote locations or backup power needs.
System Components:
• 6 Canadian Solar CS6P-255M panels (255W, 37.4V MPP each)
• Victron SmartSolar MPPT 150/85 charge controller
• 6 Valence U27-12XP LiFePO₄ modules (12V DC, 138Ah each)
• Victron BMV-700 battery monitor
• 300A solenoid and latching contactor
• Digital MultiControl panel
• Victron MultiPlus 12/3000/120 inverter-charger
System Design:
The system is designed to provide a seamless transition between solar, battery, alternator, and grid power. The six solar panels are connected to the Victron charge controller, which feeds the 12V DC bus comprising six LiFePO₄ modules. The battery bank is monitored by the Victron BMV-700 battery monitor, and the 300A solenoid and latching contactor link the house bank to a dedicated starter battery and 320A engine alternator. The Digital MultiControl panel manages the alternator and starter battery. On the AC side, the Victron MultiPlus inverter-charger accepts 120VAC mains and delivers 120VAC inverter output to a secondary subpanel.
