I, Mustafa Rasheed, am proudly from Batkhela, a city in Malakand District, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. I belong to Village Khar Muhalla Mucha Khail, a neighborhood of Batkhela.
In August 2024, I completed my B.Sc. in Food Science & Technology at the University of Agriculture, Peshawar (UAP). The Department of Food Science and Technology is a core unit of UAP, providing comprehensive education in food composition, preservation, quality control, packaging, and related fields supported by well‑equipped labs for chemical, sensory, and microbial analysis.

🏡 Roots & Identity
Living in Batkhela, the administrative center of Malakand District, I come from a region known for its vibrant bazaar, the longest in Asia, and a strategic location along the historic Malakand Pass road connecting Peshawar and the Swat Valley. As part of the broader Ranizai Pashtun tribal region, my home locality reflects the cultural heritage of the Ranizai Yousafzai community in upper Malakand.

With my recent academic achievement, I aim to contribute to Pakistan’s food sector by improving food quality, ensuring safety, and enhancing preservation techniques that align with both traditional practices and modern technology. I envision working in food production, research, or industry initiatives that help extend shelf life and nutritional value of produce, as taught in my department at UAP.
