Umar Zeb Khan Swati is a young and active student leader from District Mansehra, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. He is associated with the Insaf Students Federation (ISF), where he has played an important role in student politics and organizational activities at different levels.
He has previously served as the General Secretary of ISF Tehsil Baffa, where he contributed to strengthening student engagement and organizational structure. کل بٹل کے علاقے کڑمنگ میں پیش آنے والا حادثہ صرف ایک حادثہ نہیں تھا بلکہ ہمارے پورے نظام پر ایک بڑا سوالیہ نشان ہے۔

حادثے کے بعد زخمی نوجوان کو بروقت طبی امداد نہ مل سکی۔ نہ ایمبولینس موجود تھی، نہ فرسٹ ایڈ کا کوئی انتظام اور نہ ہی فوری ریسکیو کی سہولت۔ آخرکار زخمی نوجوان کو سوزوکی میں ہسپتال منتقل کیا گیا، مگر سہولیات کی کمی اور تاخیر اس کی جان بچانے میں ناکام رہی اور وہ راستے میں دم توڑ گیا۔

اس حلقے سے گزشتہ کئی دہائیوں سے ایک ہی سیاسی قیادت منتخب ہوتی آ رہی ہے، اس لیے عوام یہ سوال پوچھنے میں حق بجانب ہیں کہ آخر بٹل اور گردونواح میں صحت، سڑکوں، انفراسٹرکچر، تعلیم، پانی اور بنیادی سہولیات کی صورتحال آج بھی ایسی کیوں ہے؟

اگر 35 سال بعد بھی لوگ ایمبولینس، بروقت طبی امداد اور بنیادی سہولیات کے لیے ترس رہے ہیں، تو یہ صرف ایک حادثہ نہیں بلکہ جوابدہی کا سوال ہے۔

یہ وقت سیاسی نعروں کا نہیں، بلکہ عوام کو جواب دینے کا ہے

A forest fire has erupted once again in the Dadar area of Shinkiari, Mansehra district, raising serious concerns about the repeated destruction of natural forests in the region.
Mansehra, a district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa known for its rich and vast forest cover, is increasingly facing threats from forest fires, illegal logging, and deforestation. These activities are not only destroying valuable trees but are also weakening the natural ecosystem that protects the region from environmental hazards.
Deforestation in hilly areas significantly increases the risk of soil erosion and landslides, leading to serious local-level damage to land, infrastructure, and biodiversity.
On a broader scale, continuous forest loss contributes to climate imbalance including rising temperatures, reduced snowfall, and the accelerated melting of glaciers. These environmental changes are closely linked to long-term ecological degradation.
Mansehra’s forests are not just a regional resource; they are an essential part of the climate system that helps maintain environmental stability across the region.
This situation raises important questions about responsibility, prevention, and accountability. Without effective protection measures and timely response mechanisms, these natural assets will continue to decline.
A transparent investigation and immediate action are essential to prevent further irreversible damage

Muhammad Ali Swati (born March 11, 1993, in Mansehra, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa) is a Pakistani humanitarian, adventure tourism entrepreneur, and social activist. He is widely recognized for his courage, dedication, and outstanding service to humanity during emergency and disaster situations.

Muhammad Ali Swati gained national and international recognition for his brave participation in high-risk rescue operations. In 2023, he played a remarkable role during the Battagram chairlift rescue operation, where stranded children and teachers were successfully rescued in a challenging mountainous environment. His efforts, commitment, and bravery during the operation were widely appreciated across Pakistan.

In recognition of his exceptional services and courage, Muhammad Ali Swati was honored with the Tamgha-e-Imtiaz, one of Pakistan’s prestigious civil awards. مانسہرہ میں ٹمبر مافیا اور غیر قانونی لکڑی کی اسمگلنگ کے خلاف جاری کارروائیوں نے سنگین صورتحال اختیار کر لی ہے۔

گزشتہ دنوں موٹروے پولیس اور متعلقہ اداروں کی جانب سے مختلف علاقوں میں اسمگلنگ کے خلاف کارروائیاں کی گئیں، جن کے دوران ایک واقعہ بھی رپورٹ ہوا جس میں ایک مقامی رہائشی کی ہلاکت نے صورتحال کو مزید حساس بنا دیا۔ اس کے بعد بھی مختلف آپریشنز جاری رہے اور کئی مقامات پر کارروائیاں کی گئیں۔

بعد ازاں ڈی آئی جی کی ہدایت پر ایک خصوصی انکوائری کمیٹی تشکیل دی گئی، جس کی تحقیقات میں یہ انکشاف سامنے آیا کہ مانسہرہ کے تین مختلف تھانوں کے ایس ایچ اوز مبینہ طور پر اس غیر قانونی لکڑی کی اسمگلنگ میں سہولت کاری میں ملوث تھے۔ اس انکشاف کے بعد تینوں افسران کو معطل کر کے لائن حاضر کر دیا گیا ہے اور مزید انکوائری جاری ہے۔

دوسری جانب یہ بھی تشویش ناک صورتحال سامنے آ رہی ہے کہ گزشتہ تقریباً ایک سے ڈیڑھ ماہ کے دوران ضلع مانسہرہ میں مختلف واقعات میں متعدد اموات (تقریباً 25 سے 30 افراد) رپورٹ ہوئی ہیں، جس پر عوامی سطح پر سوالات اٹھ رہے ہیں کہ پولیس اپنی اصل ذمہ داری یعنی امن و امان قائم رکھنے کے بجائے دیگر معاملات میں ملوث نظر آ رہی ہے۔

عوامی و سماجی حلقوں کا کہنا ہے کہ یہ صورتحال نہ صرف قانون کی عملداری پر سوالیہ نشان ہے بلکہ جنگلات کی بے دریغ کٹائی سے ماحولیات کو بھی شدید نقصان پہنچ رہا ہے، جس سے ڈیفاریسٹیشن اور ماحولیاتی عدم توازن بڑھ رہا ہے۔

مطالبہ کیا جا رہا ہے کہ ڈی پی او مانسہرہ اس پورے معاملے پر فوری پریس کانفرنس کریں، عوام کو اصل حقائق سے آگاہ کریں اور شفاف تحقیقات کے ذریعے عوام کا اعتماد بحال کریں تاکہ قانون کی بالادستی قائم رہ سکے۔
