گورنمنٹ کالج پشاور کے پرنسپل پروفیسر ڈاکٹر نادر خان بیٹنی کی تعلیمی و فلاحی خدمات۔
میرانشاہ (حاجی مجتبٰی) گورنمنٹ کالج پشاور کے پرنسپل پروفیسر ڈاکٹر نادر خان بیٹنی نے عہدہ سنبھالنے کے بعد ادارے کو ایک مثالی تعلیمی مرکز بنانے میں دن رات محنت کی ہے۔ انہوں نے مختصر مدت میں نہ صرف تعلیمی معیار کو بہتر بنایا بلکہ طلبہ اور اساتذہ دونوں کے مسائل کے حل کے لیے عملی اقدامات کیے ہیں۔
ڈاکٹر نادر خان بیٹنی روزانہ کلاسوں میں جا کر طلبہ سے براہِ راست ملاقات کرتے ہیں اور ان کے مسائل سنتے ہیں۔ وہ صبح سے شام تک دفتر تک محدود رہنے کے بجائے کالج کے مختلف حصوں کا دورہ کرتے ہیں تاکہ تدریسی ماحول اور ڈسپلن پر نظر رکھ سکیں۔ ان کا یہ طرزِ عمل طلبہ اور اساتذہ دونوں کے لیے حوصلہ افزا ثابت ہو رہا ہے۔
خدمت اور ہمدردی کی ایک نمایاں مثال اس وقت دیکھنے کو ملی جب ایک یتیم طالب علم کی والدہ مالی مشکلات کے باعث فیس ادا کرنے سے قاصر تھیں۔ پرنسپل ڈاکٹر نادر خان بیٹنی نے نہ صرف اپنی جیب سے فیس ادا کی بلکہ سٹاف کو بھی تعاون کی ترغیب دی، جس سے ثابت ہوا کہ گورنمنٹ کالج پشاور صرف ایک تعلیمی ادارہ نہیں بلکہ طلبہ کے لیے سہارا بھی ہے۔
اس موقع پر ڈاکٹر عثمان شاہ کاٹلنگ چیئرمین کریکٹر بلڈنگ سوسائٹی نے میڈیا کو بتایا کہ کالج انتظامیہ ہمیشہ طلبہ کی ضروریات اور مسائل کو اولین ترجیح دیتی ہے۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ پچھلے سال کی طرح اس سال بھی کسی طالب علم کو تعلیمی سفر میں کسی مشکل یا محرومی کا سامنا نہیں کرنا پڑے گا، البتہ ڈسپلن کی خلاف ورزی کسی صورت برداشت نہیں کی جائے گی۔
گرمیوں کی تعطیلات کے بعد یکم ستمبر سے کلاسوں کا آغاز بھرپور انداز میں ہوا۔ پہلی ہی دن طلبہ کی غیر معمولی حاضری اور اساتذہ کی مکمل شرکت نے ادارے کے مثبت تعلیمی ماحول کو اجاگر کیا۔ ڈسپلن، حاضری اور تعلیمی سرگرمیوں پر خصوصی توجہ نے ثابت کیا کہ گورنمنٹ کالج پشاور صوبے کے بہترین تعلیمی اداروں میں شمار ہوتا ہے۔

Miranshah (Haji Mujtaba) The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government's historic decision to give Khyber Medical College Peshawar a university status is being described as a revolutionary step for the medical sector. Former Central President of the Central President of Pakhtunkhwa Dr Adil Shah Roghani and Central Senior Vice President Dr. Hamid Bangash welcomed the decision, saying that Khyber Medical College has been providing medical education to thousands of students in the province for years, and now after receiving the status of a university, it will also establish its international level.
Dr. Roghani said:
"This decision is not only a milestone for the province's educational future, but it will provide our youth with higher education and research opportunities in the style of developed countries of the world."
He lauded the services of Dean Professor Mahmood Aurangzeb and Dr. Arshad Rehan, saying that the dream turned into reality thanks to his hard work and leadership. Dr. Roghani added that the move will greatly improve health facilities, medical education and research quality in the province and ordinary citizens will also benefit from its benefits.
Meanwhile, a spokesman for the provincial government has said that giving Khyber Medical College a university status is part of the current government's educational vision. According to him, the government's top priority is to harmonize the higher education and health sector in the province with modern requirements. The spokesperson added that the establishment of the university will not only start new educational programs but also provide employment opportunities to youth across the province.
Experts and medical circles have also praised the decision, saying that the move will prove to be the beginning of a new era of higher education in the province and will bring a new ray of hope for students in backward areas.
