Waleed’s Passport Day 🛂 | Helmet Ride & Exploring Hattian Bala HQ District Jhelum Valley AJK | 2026

Today’s vlog is a complete journey through Hattian Bala, the headquarters of District Jhelum Valley, and an important day for my family as I went to collect my brother Waleed’s passport.

I started my journey early, fully geared up with a helmet, which I wore on the advice of my elder (Aqib Uncle). Wearing a helmet is not just about avoiding traffic trouble — it’s about saving lives, and safety always comes first. Because of the helmet, my hair got a little messy, but safety over style any day 😄.

The ride towards Hattian Bala was peaceful and scenic. Along the way, I introduced different areas and explained their importance. One of the key highlights was the University of Azad Jammu & Kashmir – Jhelum Valley Campus, which currently operates inside a degree college and does not yet have its own independent campus. I talked about the available departments, including BS English, BS Computer Science, and BS Education, and shared my honest opinion that District Jhelum Valley deserves its own proper university campus, just like Muzaffarabad and Neelum Valley.

As the journey continued, I reached Nadol Stadium, the largest ground in District Jhelum Valley, where district-level cricket matches are held. After that, I officially entered Hattian Bala city, showing major government institutions such as the City Police Station, District Health and Teaching Hospital, AC Office, Education Department, courts, and other important offices.

Later, I entered the main Hattian Bala bazaar, crossed the bridge, and headed towards the Passport Office located downhill. At the passport office, I informed the staff that I was there to collect my brother Waleed’s passport. After providing the required copy, I successfully received his passport — Alhamdulillah.

After completing the passport work, I handled a few personal tasks in Hattian Bala. My beloved Arif Nana was also with me during this journey, making it even more special. Before heading back, I stopped at the bazaar to change my bike’s engine oil, ensuring the bike was ready for future rides.

On the way back, I finally spotted a jet aircraft in the sky after almost six to seven months, which was a surprising and exciting moment to end the vlog.

This vlog covers travel, safety awareness, education issues, government offices, passport process, and local exploration — a true representation of daily life and journeys in Azad Kashmir.
