The SCOM network in Hunza. It's honestly the worst! Every time I try to call my loved ones, I have to try at least 15 to 20 times. Before I can finally talk to my mama or papa. Even right now I try at least 20 to 25 times but as usual I can't talk to my family. This is so frustrating!
Not only that, but if we can’t recharge, they just block our SIM cards. Like seriously, what are they trying to do? In Hunza, 90% of people are freelancers. What are they supposed to do?
Whenever I try to call my papa or mama, I feel tense, worrying that I won’t be able to talk to them. There’s also the issue that whenever the electricity goes off in Hunza, ( Gojal)( Khyber)the SCOM network goes off too. We can’t contact anyone then.
We live in different cities and countries; it’s very important to talk to our loved ones, but what can we do? We can’t do anything with this poor service. If SCOM can’t provide a decent network, they should step aside and let other networks like Zong, Jazz, Telenor or anyone else take over. We deserve better!
