Poor people are also a constructive part of our society. They have equal rights to live here respectfully and independently in terms of financial and social values. But somehow due to a few reasons, they do not get the opportunity to overcome various obstacles to lead a respectful life. But as a member of a civilized and cultured society, we cannot deny our responsib
ilities. So, as a matter of fact, we cannot remain indifferent to the miserable condition of poor people. A society cannot develop if extreme poverty coexists. Therefore everybody should always try to stand by them and help them out in the time of their need. The poor people are seen everywhere. In our community, many people are compelled to beg to meet their demands. However, we can assist them in many ways. Somebody may need food to put off his hunger. As a concerned citizen, you should offer him foods to satiate his appetite. It is not only about food rather it is about everything that a human being like us requires. The poor people may be in an intense state of want of food, items of clothing, and medicines. Try to give them shelter if they are homeless, give them food if they are hungry, and give them treatment if they are unwell. In a word don't let them be helpless and hopeless. You can certainly stretch your helping hand to bring a smile to their faces. Don't overlook a poor child's enthusiasm for the study. If you come across such boys, make an arrangement for their study materials and also give them free tuition if possible. Poverty is a burning problem in the present world. In Pakistan, more than 5 million people live in extreme poverty. Whatever the statistics are, no one should die being victimized by poverty. Our government takes many initiatives to get control of the deployment of poverty. But no government would be successful in its mission if most of the citizens don't take care of it passionately. There are many volunteering organizations that are bound to look after the poor and get them on the front line of society. You must enroll yourself in such an organization.
