**📢 Event Highlights: Distribution of Winter Essentials for Visually Impaired Students**

On **20th December 2024**, the **Pakistan Association of the Blind (PAB)**, in collaboration with the **Government Institute for Visually Impaired Children (Boys), Peshawar**, organized a heartwarming event to support visually impaired students in need.

The event took place at the **Government Institute for Visually Impaired Children (Boys), Peshawar**, where **winter clothing** was distributed among the deserving visually impaired students. This initiative aimed to ensure that these students stay warm and comfortable during the harsh winter months.

Today, we celebrate the birth anniversary of Louis Braille, the inventor of the Braille system. Braille is a tactile writing system that enables blind and visually impaired individuals to read and write through touch.

World Braille Day is celebrated on January 4th every year to raise awareness about the importance of Braille literacy and to promote the use of Braille in education, employment, and daily life.

Let's come together to promote inclusivity and accessibility for all. Let's celebrate the power of Braille to empower blind and visually impaired individuals to reach their full potential.

میرا مشن ہے کہ خصوصی افراد جو مختلف صلاحیتوں کے مالک ہیں ان کو اس معاشرے کا اہم اور کاگر حصہ بناوں : وزیر اعلیٰ سندھ

انکلیوسیو سٹی کا قیام ایک اس مشن کو مکمل کرنے میں اہم ثابت ہوگا : وزیر اعلیٰ سندھ

وزیر اعلیٰ سندھ نے مختلف کورسز کامیابی سے مکمل کرنے پر خصوصی نوجوانوں میں اسناد بھی تقسیم کیں۔

سوشل ویلفیئر ڈپارٹمنٹ خیبر پختونخوا نے خیبر پختونخوا سے تعلق رکھنے والے معذور افراد سے معاون آلات کے لئے درخواستیں طلب کی ہیں۔ بصارت سے محروم افراد کو ہدایت دی جاتی ہے کہ وہ سلائی مشینوں کے لیے اپنی آن لائن درخواست جمع کروائیں۔ درخواست جمع کراتے وقت آپ کو اپنے شناختی کارڈ کے فرنٹ اور بیک سائیڈ کی تصاویر، معذوری سرٹیفکیٹ اور اپنی تصویر (سر سے پاوں تک) اپلوڈ کرنا ہوگی۔ تصویر کا زیادہ سے زیادہ سائز 400kb مقرر کیا گیا ہے۔

The Social Welfare Department Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has invited application from persons with disabilities, hailing from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, for assistive devices. Visually Impaired Persons are advised to submit their online application for sewing machines. During the submission of online application, you will require to upload pictures of Front and Back of your CNIC, your disability certificate and your full body picture. Minimum size of picture is set to 400 kb.

Alhamdulillah! After years of relentless efforts by the Pakistan Association of the Blind, we’re thrilled to announce that the Honorable Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has approved interest-free loans for persons with disabilities in the province. This support will provide up to PKR 500,000 per individual, repayable over three years in easy installments. A major step toward empowering our community!
