🧠 1) Blowout Scenario – Engineering Explanation
🔥 Blowout کیا ہوتا ہے؟
جب Formation pressure > Hydrostatic mud pressure ہو جائے تو formation fluids (gas/oil) کنٹرول سے باہر well میں داخل ہو جاتے ہیں۔
بنیادی فارمولا:
جہاں:
MW = Mud Weight (ppg)
TVD = True Vertical Depth (ft)
⚠ مثال:
Depth = 15,000 ft
Mud weight = 10 ppg
اگر formation pressure = 8,500 psi ہو
➡ underbalanced condition
➡ kick آئے گا
➡ اگر control نہ ہو تو blowout

Kick detect ہوتا ہے (pit gain / flow increase)
Annular BOP close
Well shut-in
Kill mud circulate
Choke manifold سے pressure control

Hook load = Drill string weight in air − buoyancy effect
Step 1: Pipe weight
Drill pipe weight = 19.5 lb/ft
Length = 12,000 ft
Step 2: Buoyancy factor
اگر MW = 12 ppg
Step 3: Effective hook load
T202 کی capacity ≈ 1.3M lb
لہٰذا محفوظ حد میں ہے۔
