An Effective Step Towards Empowering Young Girls: Training in Civic Education for Awareness, Leadership, and Responsibility
Under the auspices of the Department of Youth Affairs, Government of Balochistan, a two-session training program on civic education was held at Government Girls High School (PAF Airbase) as part of the Balochistan Youth Socio-Economic Development Program. The expert trainer, Mrs. Rizwana Ayub, effectively guided the participants on constitutional and civic awareness, responsibilities, and social values. Over 196 students participated in the program. The aim of the sessions was to instill in the students the consciousness of becoming informed, responsible, and active citizens. The training sessions included group discussions, Q&A, role plays, poster-making, and debates on social issues, where students showcased their creative and analytical skills. Teachers also actively participated in these activities and played a key role in guiding the students. The school administration praised the initiative of the Balochistan Youth Socio-Economic Development Program, emphasizing that such programs not only enhance academic standards but also contribute to the personal development of students. At the conclusion, certificates were distributed to the participants, and the trainer was specially thanked.
