A tragic drone strike in Waziristan yesterday claimed the innocent lives of four children. As the grieving families held the funeral, a military colonel arrived to offer condolences — but in a cold, indifferent manner. The scene painted a painful picture: a colonized and silenced nation, mourning its dead, while those responsible stand over them, offering symbolic condolences without remorse. The irony is striking — the killer now leads the funeral prayers of the victims. This reflects the helplessness and subjugation of a people long denied justice.

Drone Strike Reported in Lakki Marwat: Several Injured۔

Lakki Marwat – According to local sources, a drone strike was reported in the Lakki Marwat region, resulting in multiple injuries. The injured individuals have been shifted to nearby hospitals, where they are currently receiving medical treatment. Hospital staff have issued an urgent appeal for blood donations due to the critical condition of several victims.

This latest incident adds to growing concerns over the continuous targeting of Pashtun-populated areas, particularly the tribal districts. Local residents and activists claim that the Pakistani military has been repeatedly carrying out operations in these regions, disproportionately affecting the civilian population.

Despite the recurring violence, human rights organizations have remained largely silent, prompting criticism from civil society for their inaction and lack of advocacy. Calls are mounting for an independent investigation and for international attention to the plight of the Pashtun people in the region.

After seven months of disappearance, the body of innocent Pashtun child 𝙈𝙪𝙨𝙨𝙖𝙬𝙞𝙧 𝙆𝙖𝙠𝙖𝙧, who was abducted from Quetta, has been recovered from Mastung, Balochistan. The tragic incident has sparked renewed anger and sorrow among the Pashtun community.

Despite massive protests in Quetta demanding his recovery, the Pakistani state failed to take any serious action, exposing its inability to protect innocent Pashtun lives. This heartbreaking development once again highlights the growing insecurity and lawlessness in the region.

Breaking News | The Times of Pashtunistan

Tensions in the Middle East have taken a dramatic turn. Two days ago, on Saturday, the United States carried out targeted airstrikes on Iran’s nuclear facilities in what was described as a "preemptive measure" against Iran’s growing nuclear ambitions. In a strong and coordinated response, Iran has today launched multiple ballistic missiles targeting U.S. military bases located in Qatar, Bahrain, Iraq, and Kuwait.

Eyewitness footage from Qatar shows Iranian missiles streaking through the night sky, highlighting the serious escalation between the two powers. These developments signal a broader regional conflict, with fears growing that more countries could be drawn into the confrontation.

Iranian officials have stated that this retaliation is just the beginning if aggression continues. Meanwhile, the U.S. and its allies are reassessing their military posture in the Gulf region.

The situation remains fluid. The Times of Pashtunistan will continue to provide timely updates.

In a strongly worded statement, Manzoor Ahmad Pashteen, the founder of the Pashtun Tahafuz Movement (PTM), compared Pakistan’s treatment of Pashtuns to the actions of Israel against Palestinians and Iran, calling it “relentless and brutal.”

"Just as Israel continues its aggression against Palestine and Iran, Pakistan is perpetually subjecting the innocent people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to extreme oppression," said Pashteen.

He claimed that despite the killing of over 86,000 Pashtuns, the policies of oppression by what he described as “Punjabi generals” continue unabated. "Yesterday in South Waziristan’s Makeen area, a bomb was dropped on a house, injuring four children and martyring one," he added.

Pashteen also accused Pakistan’s military establishment of making new business deals with the United States after seizing Pashtun lands and natural resources.

He called on Pashtun youth to resist defeatism and reject the influence of “incoherent statements, clowns, and false claims” promoted by the establishment. “They must strengthen the spirit of resistance,” he emphasized.
“The enemy’s current administrative and military dominance is temporary,” he stated, warning that the oppressors are headed toward a disastrous end. “Their tyranny will only end through our consistency, continued resistance, and high morale.”

According to PTM leader Manzoor Ahmad Pashteen, the Pakistani army has been committing atrocities against innocent Pashtun civilians, including children and women, in various districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The incidents include drone attacks, mortar shelling, and landmine explosions that have resulted in numerous casualties and injuries.

Some of the reported incidents include:

- April 29, 2025: Three girls injured in mortar shelling by the Pakistani army in Bajaur's Laghari Mamond.
- May 7, 2025: A elderly man and his daughter martyred, while a son injured in mortar shelling by the Pakistani army in Janikhel, Bannu.
- May 8, 2025: Three youth martyred and one injured in a drone attack on a mosque in Tank's Betni area.
- May 9, 2025: A woman martyred in mortar shelling by the Pakistani army in Khyber's Tirah.
- May 11, 2025: 11 women and 5 children injured in a drone attack in Janikhel, Bannu.
- May 13, 2025: A cleric martyred in an attack by unknown assailants in Khyber's Tirah.

- May 18, 2025: Four children and a woman martyred, while three women injured in a drone attack in North Waziristan's Mirali.

PTM leader Manzoor Ahmad Pashteen has condemned these atrocities and questioned the silence of those who claim to be defenders of human rights. He has demanded justice for the victims and their families."

Mangchar, Kalat District – The situation in Mangchar remains tense as armed individuals have attacked advancing Pakistani forces.
