SK Hydro Company celebrated the first anniversary of the Suki Kinari Hydropower Project, a flagship energy initiative under the - Economic Corridor ( ), with a Media Open Day at CEEC Pakistan’s newly established regional office.



Executives from SK Hydro and CEEC welcomed representatives of more than ten leading media outlets, who toured the Corporate Culture Exhibition Hall & the upcoming “Smart Hydropower” centralised control room.

Since beginning commercial operations on September 14, 2024, the Suki Kinari Hydropower Station has produced over 2.7 billion kWh of clean electricity. This contribution has eased Pakistan’s energy shortfall, cut reliance on imported fuels, & advanced the government’s renewable energy targets.
