سلیم فگار عہد حاضر کے ان معدودے چند اہم شعرا میں سے ایک ہیں جنھوں نے دیار غیر میں بھی کئی عشروں سے اردو شاعری کے دیپ روشن کررکھے ہیں۔مرکزی ادبی حلقوں اور مشاعراتی فضا سے دوری کے باوجود وہ اپنے جان دار متن کے ساتھ پاک وہند کی معاصر شاعری میں اپنی جداگانہ حیثیت کے ساتھ موجود ہیں۔ان کی شاعری میں محبت کےبا وقار نغموں کے ساتھ ساتھ معاصر زندگی کے مسائل پر فکری ووجدانی عناصر موجود ہیں جس سے ان کی شاعری نہ صرف متنوع نظر آتی ہے بلکہ اس کے ساتھ ساتھ ان کی شاعری میں عام انسان کو اپنا دل دھڑکتا ہوا محسوس ہے۔

Our first publication is a book of poems and Ghazals by Saleem Figar that is sure to grip your heart.
Saleem Figar is one of the few rare poets who have kept the flame of Urdu poetry alive. He has established himself as an important writer despite not being attached to any major literary group or institution. He talks about love and social, economic, and everyday concerns with such eloquence that his work is sure to find a home in the heart of every reader and listener. He also has a role in the history of Raazi Publications, for which we are in his dept.
