In Ordos — the northern Chinese city known for producing over 2 million tons of coal per day — a green revolution is quietly taking flight. 🏭➡

At the heart of this transformation is the world’s first airport terminal powered entirely by zero-carbon energy. How did they do it? 🚀
🟢 80,000 sqm of rooftop solar panels generate over 10 million kWh of clean electricity annually.

❄♻ CO₂-based heating & cooling replaces traditional systems — efficient and sustainable.
🌍💡 Geothermal energy + energy storage wells act like nature’s own battery.
📊🧠 AI + 3D energy maps dynamically control everything from indoor climate to shuttle bus routes!

🚐 Even the airport transport system is optimized by intelligent algorithms.
The result?
✅ 100% carbon-free energy supply for the terminal
✅ 72% less energy consumption
✅ 1.3 tons of carbon emissions eliminated every year — and that’s just the beginning.

Ford has developed a unique fragrance called "Mach-Eau" to help car enthusiasts transitioning to electric vehicles cope with the absence of petrol scents.

A Ford Europe survey revealed that 70% of drivers would miss the smell of petrol, ranking it above wine and cheese.

Launched at the Goodwood Festival of Speed, the scent blends petrol-like notes with hints of tyre rubber, car interiors, and exotic elements like blue ginger and sandalwood.

Created with Olfiction, the fragrance isn’t for sale but supports Ford’s efforts to promote EV adoption by bridging the sensory gap for traditional car lovers.

The fifth monsoon spell has struck Pakistan, bringing widespread rainfall and severe weather warnings. The country has recorded 73% more rainfall than last year, leading to swollen rivers and urban flooding.

High flood levels in the Indus River have washed away a police checkpoint in Attock. Authorities are on high alert, with rescue teams mobilized and travel advisories issued.

The PDMA has urged citizens, especially in Murree and Galyat, to avoid unnecessary travel and stay safe. Rains are expected to intensify further in August.
