Creating longshadow text effects in Photoshop is surprisingly simple and straightforward. The first step is to choose your font type and size. Next, select a foreground color for your text; this should be slightly darker than the background color so that the shadows are visible enough.
Create a new layer on top of your background layer and then type out your desired word or phrase on this layer using whichever font you selected earlier. Now go back to the background layer of your project and select the Rectangle Tool (U). Click anywhere on your canvas and drag until you have created a box that covers all of your text.
Once you have finished creating your box shape, go back to the top layer with your text on it. Then right-click on this layer and select “Create Clipping Mask” from the menu options that appear. This will clip all elements within this layer to whatever shape was created below it.
Blur- Motion Blur from the top menu bar in Photoshop. Adjust both angle and distance sliders until you are satisfied with how much blur there is behind each letter or symbol.
