How We Started!

The journey started in 1972 when parents of Haq Nawaz were poverty-stricken in the society. They used to live in a mud house without any electricity or any essential life amenities. Allah Din, and Khurshid Begum were the first motivators to Haq Nawaz who made him leave groceries at the doorsteps of people who had no food in pitch darkness of night. This embarked t
he humanitarian journey for Haq Nawaz with the mindset free of any kind of prejudice.
50 years ago, an initiative was taken to provide a helping hand to deserving people by donating a handsome amount of our income. Our family started with a genuine leap of faith and became a beacon of hope for many people. Haq Nawaz founded this journey when they had no resources but a determination for elevating the lives of the deserving.

Another miracle happened when Haq Nawaz and Tahira Nawaz's name was drawn in a lucky draw to visit the home of Allah (Makkah Madina). This was a blessing from Allah which they could not forget. When they reached the door of Khana Kabah, both had the same yearning in their hearts. The longing of them being resourceful so they could help God’s creatures and people. At that time their son Tahir Nawaz was abroad for Masters degree. Tahir Nawaz suggested to his parents that they can inspire people of Pakistan to come out of their comfort zone to help people. He advised to use social media to share the humanitarian vision with the world so they can reach out to people. Their sons Tahir Nawaz and Bilal Nawaz provided a platform with the name of Rahe-Insaniyat and they started this humanitarian journey with a flicker of flames in their hearts. To water, our dream of something humungous was a stepping stone for us, and we put forth this motivation on the social media platform to inspire others. Now, Rahe Insaniyat is a big family supporting and drawing inspiration for millions of people simultaneously. Visionary Message

Haq Nawaz with his wife and 2 children were deeply inspired by Eidhi who was a role model for the whole family. When Eidhi left the world including our family was saddened and felt that Edhi had left a huge void. Then Haq Nawaz’s elder son Tahir Nawaz asked if there will be another Eidhi. This question was so meaningful for Haq Nawaz that his son wanted to console him. He knew that there will not be another Eidhi but his mission can be kept alive so he answered his kids then let's put the work for this cause(To phir dat jao). The answer was to make it clear that we have to take ahead Edhi’s work because he knew when one person dies his own kids become orphans but Abdul-Satar Edhi, Mother Teresa left thousands of kids orphaned. On that day his wife Tahira Nawaz said that I am with you to sacrifice my life to complete the vision of Edhi, I will reach out to all those deserving people who are neglected and no one knows about them. And that day both of them started their journey to reach out to widows and neglected people even without resources. Achievements and Milestones
