This is where the fun begins , building the base of your online business. In this episode, I’ll walk you through everything you need to do before launching your store: from choosing your name to setting up your domain and basic store settings.

💡 𝟭. 𝗖𝗵𝗼𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗦𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗡𝗮𝗺𝗲

Pick a store name that’s simple, easy to remember, and reflects what you sell.
➡️ Go to your Shopify dashboard → click “Settings” → “Store details” → edit your Store name.
Don’t overthink it — you can always change it later!

🌐 𝟮. 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗗𝗼𝗺𝗮𝗶𝗻

Your domain is your store’s web address (like yourstore.com).
You can buy one directly from Shopify or connect an existing one you already own.
➡️ Go to “Settings” → “Domains” → “Buy new domain” or “Connect existing domain”.
Having your own domain makes your store look more professional and trustworthy.

⚙️ 𝟯. 𝗦𝗲𝘁 𝗕𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗰 𝗦𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗗𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘀

Before you go live, make sure all your store info is accurate.
➡️ In Settings → Store details, add your address, contact email, and business info.
This helps with order processing, taxes, and payment setup later on.
