Mr. Wahaj Siraj is a pioneer in Pakistan's internet and telecom industry. He co-founded Micronet Broadband, the first company to launch broadband DSL services in Pakistan in 2002. He later co-founded Nayatel, Pakistan's first fiber to the home (FTTH) network.
Nayatel is now one of the leading internet service providers in Pakistan, offering broadband, HD TV, and phone services to business and home users. Mr. Wahaj Siraj's vision and leadership have helped Nayatel to become a trusted brand and a major player in the Pakistani telecom market.
In addition to his work at Nayatel, Mr. Wahaj Siraj has also held a number of senior positions in the Pakistani government, including:
Principal Staff Officer (IT) at Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication Pakistan
Deputy Director at Commission on Science and Technology for Sustainable Development in the South (COMSATS)
Assistant Technological Adviser at Government of Pakistan, Ministry of Science & Technology
Mr. Wahaj Siraj's experience in both the private and public sectors gives him a unique perspective on the challenges and opportunities facing entrepreneurs in Pakistan. He is a passionate advocate for entrepreneurship and self-development, and he is often invited to speak on these topics.
