š§µ We didnāt come from a ātech background.ā
No one around us talked about APIs over dinner.
Terms like Git, components, or UI/UX werenāt part of our everyday vocabulary.
All our families knew was:
āTheyāre doing something with computers.ā
But the real story?
Thatās where the heart is.
⨠We taught ourselves how to code.
š ļø We learned how to build websites from scratch ā through trial, error, and endless Googling.
š§© We debugged problems that made us want to throw our laptops out the window.
šŖ And every time it got too hard, we didnāt quit ā we showed up again.
Not because it was easy.
But because it meant something.
This wasnāt just about a career switch.
This was about building a life we could be proud of.
A future we couldnāt see, but believed in anyway.
Weāre not here by luck.
Weāre here because of consistency.
Because of resilience.
Because we bet on ourselves ā and kept going.
So if you're out there right now, trying to break into tech without the "perfect background":
š This post is for you.
š« You donāt need a family of engineers.
š« You donāt need the fanciest bootcamp or a CS degree.
ā
What you do need is the courage to start, the mindset to grow, and the discipline to keep building ā even when no oneās clapping yet.
Your background doesnāt define your future.
Your belief and effort do.
Letās keep building. Letās keep going.
Together.
