Recently, an important virtual meeting was held by the Welfare Trust, attended by responsible members from both within the country and abroad.
The meeting was presided over by President Imtiaz Ali (USA), while Vice President Mukhtar Ali, General Secretary Arif Hussain, Chief Strategy Officer Nisar Ali, Audit Head Ali Musa, and other active members also participated.
The highlight of the meeting was the special invitation extended to Mr. Asad Shafiq, who is a candidate in the upcoming elections and a visionary young leader. His participation aimed to directly inform him about the problems faced by the villagers, so that practical solutions can be planned for the future. He reaffirmed his commitment to public service by following in the footsteps of his late father.
The following key issues were discussed during the meeting:
• Immediate provision of clean drinking water
• Construction of an RRC bridge for the village
• Restoration of the link road
• Provision of quality education
• Improvement in basic healthcare facilities
• Compensation for recent flood damages
All participants assured their full cooperation and commitment to taking serious and practical steps to resolve these issues.
حال ہی میں کھانےویلفیئر ٹرسٹ کی جانب سے ایک اہم ورچوئل میٹنگ کا انعقاد کیا گیا جس میں اندرون و بیرونِ ملک موجود ذمے داران نے شرکت کی۔
میٹنگ کی صدارت صدر امتیاز علی (امریکہ) نے کی، جب کہ نائب صدر مختار علی، جنرل سیکرٹری عارف حسین، چیف اسٹریٹیجی آفیسر نثار علی، آڈٹ ہیڈ علی موسیٰ اور دیگر فعال اراکین بھی شریک ہوئے۔
میٹنگ کی سب سے خاص بات یہ تھی کہ اس میں محترم اسد شفیق صاحب کو خصوصی طور پر مدعو کیا گیا — جو کہ آئندہ الیکشن میں امیدوار ہیں اور ایک ویژنری سوچ رکھنے والے نوجوان ہیں۔ اُن کی شمولیت کا مقصد یہ تھا کہ گاؤں کے عوام کو درپیش مسائل سے اُنہیں براہِ راست آگاہ کیا جائے، تاکہ مستقبل میں عملی اقدامات ممکن بنائے جا سکیں۔ اُنہوں نے اپنے والد مرحوم کے نقشِ قدم پر چلتے ہوئے عوامی خدمت کے جذبے کا اعادہ کیا۔
