CIRCLE Women Association & TechMinds Sign MoU to Empower Women Entrepreneurs in Gilgit-Baltistan

Skardu, Baltistan – 15 July 2025

In a significant step toward advancing digital inclusion and women’s economic empowerment, CIRCLE Women Association and TechMinds have formally signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to collaborate on the Digital Literacy Program (DLP) Advanced Level Training - Level Two in Gilgit-Baltistan.

The MoU was officially signed by Ms. Saleh , Area Coordinator at CIRCLE Women Association, and Mr. Ali Khan, CEO of TechMinds.

Through this partnership, both organizations aim to train women from underserved communities in digital skills, life skills, and business development, preparing them to thrive in the digital economy.

“This partnership with TechMinds is an important milestone for us in reaching more women in the northern regions of Pakistan,” said Ms. Aziza Saleh. “By providing access to digital tools and knowledge, we are enabling women to take charge of their futures, support their families, and contribute to their local economies.”

“We are excited to work with CIRCLE Women Association to bring meaningful change to the lives of women entrepreneurs,” said Mujahid Ali Khan, CEO of TechMinds.

Digital Excellence Program – Certificate Distribution Ceremony

Empowering the Women of Baltistan Through Digital Literacy

We are proud to celebrate the successful completion of the Digital Literacy Course exclusively designed for women under the Digital Excellence Program, jointly organized by Special Communications Organization - SCO and TechMinds, from 20th December 2024 to 20th March 2025.

This women-focused initiative aimed to empower the talented and aspiring young women of Baltistan with essential digital skills — helping them unlock new opportunities in freelancing, remote work, and digital entrepreneurship.

A total of 33 female students successfully completed the training. To honor their achievement, a Certificate Distribution Ceremony was held where Major Nisar graced the event as Chief Guest, and Mr. Mujahid Ali Khan, CEO of TechMinds, awarded certificates to the participants.

TechMinds and Regional Farmers Organization (RFO) Sign MoU for Strategic Collaboration

Skardu – In a significant step towards fostering innovation, skill development, and regional empowerment, TechMinds, a leading tech education and consulting firm, and the Regional Farmers Organization (RFO), Baltistan, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to initiate a collaborative partnership.

The MoU, signed on 24th May 2025 by Mujahid Ali, CEO of TechMinds, and Ejaz Ali, President of RFO, lays the foundation for mutual efforts in skill-building, community engagement, and digital advancement across the region.

About RFO, Baltistan

The Regional Farmers’ Cooperative Organization Baltistan (RFO) is an independent, legally recognized apex body representing 19,264 farmers across the Baltistan region. Formed under the Economic Transformation Initiative Gilgit Baltistan (ETI-GB), RFO oversees 62 Farmers' Organizations (FOs), providing them with economic services, capacity building, and market linkages at the regional, provincial, and national levels.

RFO's core business activities include delivering training to FOs, ensuring timely access to quality agricultural inputs, and facilitating collective marketing of farmers’ produce. The organization operates on a profit-sharing model, where earnings are distributed among member FOs.

A Vision for Collaborative Growth

Through this MoU, TechMinds and RFO have agreed to work together on projects that align with their shared goals—creating economic opportunities, advancing digital literacy, and addressing community needs with innovative solutions. The partnership reflects a commitment to fostering positive change in Gilgit-Baltistan through joint initiatives and resource-sharing.
