سوچیے…

اگر گھر میں کچھ کھانے کو نہ ہو تو انسان کسی نہ کسی طرح بھوک برداشت کر لیتا ہے، مگر جب سر پر چھت نہ رہے تو سکون کی کوئی امید باقی نہیں رہتی۔
آج گانچھے اور بلتستان کے کئی علاقے اسی کرب سے گزر رہے ہیں۔ سیلابی ریلے نے خوابوں کے نگر کو ملبے میں بدل دیا ہے۔ جہاں کبھی ہنستے بستے گھر تھے، آج وہاں صرف ویرانی ہے۔

ہلدی میں مقامی رضاکار نے ایک ڈھیر کی طرف اشارہ کر کے کہا:
‘یہاں دو بھائیوں کے گھر تھے’
میں حیرت میں ڈوب گیا… ابھی ہم جس ملبے پر کھڑے تھے، وہی ان کی زندگی بھر کی محنت تھی۔
قرضے لے کر، پسینے بہا کر، سالوں میں بنایا ہوا گھر… ایک لمحے میں زمین بوس ہو گیا۔

کندوس میں بھی یہی کہانی ہے — درجنوں گھر ملبے تلے دب گئے ہیں۔
آج یہ سب لوگ خیموں میں بے یار و مددگار بیٹھے ہیں۔ سردیاں قریب ہیں، اور ان کمزور ٹینٹوں میں نہ جانے وہ کیسے یہ کڑا وقت گزاریں گے۔
کھانے پینے کی اشیاء، کپڑے، اور بنیادی ضروریات کی شدید کمی ہے۔

دوستو! کیا ہم اپنے گھروں میں بیٹھ کر یہ تماشہ دیکھتے رہیں؟
نہیں، یہ ہماری بھی ذمہ داری ہے۔ آئیں، ہم سب مل کر ان بے سہارا خاندانوں کا سہارا بنیں۔ آپ کا چھوٹا سا تعاون بھی ان کے لئے زندگی کی نئی امید بن سکتا ہے۔

میں خود ان تمام متاثرہ علاقوں میں جا چکا ہوں — وہاں کی مشکلات ناقابلِ بیان ہیں۔ یقین کریں، یہ لوگ ہماری مدد کے منتظر ہیں۔
آئیں، ان کے لئے امید کا دیا جلائیں۔
