شبِ برات اسلامی سال کی ایک بہت بابرکت رات ہے، جو 15 شعبان المعظم کی رات کو آتی ہے۔ اسے لیلۃُ البراءۃ بھی کہا جاتا ہے، یعنی گناہوں سے نجات کی رات۔
شبِ برات کی فضیلت احادیث کی روشنی میں:
اللہ تعالیٰ کی خاص رحمت کا نزول
احادیث کے مطابق اس رات اللہ تعالیٰ اپنی شان کے مطابق آسمانِ دنیا پر نزول فرماتا ہے اور بے شمار بندوں کی مغفرت فرماتا ہے، سوائے چند لوگوں کے (مثلاً: مشرک، کینہ رکھنے والا وغیرہ)۔
مغفرت کی رات
یہ رات گناہوں کی معافی مانگنے، توبہ کرنے اور اللہ کی طرف رجوع کرنے کی بہترین رات ہے۔ جو سچے دل سے توبہ کرے، اللہ اس کی مغفرت فرما دیتا ہے۔
تقدیر کے فیصلے
بعض روایات کے مطابق اس رات آئندہ سال کے معاملات (زندگی، موت، رزق وغیرہ) کے فیصلے فرشتوں کے سپرد کیے جاتے ہیں — یہ سب اللہ کے حکم سے ہوتا ہے۔
عبادت کی ترغیب
نبی کریم ﷺ سے منقول ہے کہ اس رات نفل نماز، دعا اور استغفار کی خاص فضیلت ہے اور دن میں (15 شعبان کو) روزہ رکھنا مستحب ہے۔
ہمیں اس رات کیا کرنا چاہیے؟
نفل نماز ادا کریں
قرآنِ پاک کی تلاوت کریں
کثرت سے دعا اور استغفار کریں
دل میں کسی کے لیے کینہ یا بغض ہو تو معاف کر دیں
اپنی اور امتِ مسلمہ کی بھلائی کی دعا کریں
مختصر یہ کہ شبِ برات اللہ کی رحمت، مغفرت اور بخشش کی رات ہے—اسے غفلت میں گزارنے کے بجائے عبادت اور دعا میں گزارنا بہت بڑی سعادت ہے 🤍
