Alhamdulillah, I’m beyond excited to share that I’ve joined a research team in my very first semester!

Research has always felt like a calling for meβ€”it satisfies a deep curiosity and a constant desire to know more, to understand how things work, and to uncover answers that matter. Being part of a team that values discovery and growth already makes me incredibly happy and even more driven.

First and foremost, all praise and thanks are due to Allah Almighty for opening this door and placing such amazing people in my path.

This is just the beginning, and I cannot wait to learn, grow, and contribute alongside this incredible team. πŸš€

That moment you realize your parents were literally using behavioral psychology on you. 😭🧠

Positive Punishment β†’ Adding something unpleasant to stop a behavior.
(Extra chores after lying)

Negative Punishment β†’ Removing something pleasant to stop a behavior.
(Phone taken away after bad grades)

Both reduce behavior. But the impact on a child's mind? Very different.

Which one did YOUR parents use more? Drop it below πŸ‘‡

Most people think Negative Reinforcement means something bad. It doesn't.
Both Positive and Negative Reinforcement increase behavior. The difference is how.
β†’ Positive Reinforcement adds something rewarding.
β†’ Negative Reinforcement removes something uncomfortable.
Skinner proved this decades ago. We're still getting it wrong.
