SP Adeel Akbar — A Brave Son of the Soil Who Deserves to Be Remembered as a Martyr
By Raheel Khan Kasi

Superintendent of Police Adeel Akbar was not just a name in uniform — he was a symbol of courage, dedication, and unwavering commitment to his duty. Having served in the Balochistan Police, one of the toughest policing environments in Pakistan, he earned respect through his professionalism, integrity, and empathy for the people he protected. His transfer to Islamabad Police marked another chapter of his service to the nation, where he continued to perform his duties with the same passion and sense of responsibility.

The news of his tragic death has left the entire nation in shock. Official reports have labelled it as a su***de, but I strongly believe that a man of his spirit and discipline does not take his own life. SP Adeel Akbar was a fighter — a son of the soil who faced every challenge head-on. The pressures, the challenges, and the emotional strain that come with law enforcement service are immense, and many times our officers are left alone to carry that burden. But such a devoted officer, who gave his life in the line of service, deserves to be remembered not with doubt — but with honour.

SP Adeel Akbar should not be called a victim of su***de; he should be remembered as a martyr — a man who gave his life serving his country. His death is a reminder that behind every police uniform stands a human being who sacrifices his comfort, his family life, and ultimately, sometimes even his own life for the safety of others.

Pakistan has lost a remarkable officer — a patriot who served his people with loyalty and passion. The state should recognize his services and pay him the tribute he rightfully deserves. SP Adeel Akbar will always remain in our hearts as a true hero, a son of the soil who lived and died for his country.

A Step Toward Accountability and Compassion — DIG Imran Shaukat’s Vision for a Just Quetta
By Raheel Khan Kasi

After assuming charge as the Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Quetta, Imran Shaukat has made it clear that his administration will stand for integrity, justice, and humanity. In his first address to the police officers, he sent a strong and commendable message—warning that strict action will be taken against any officer found involved in bribery. His words reflect not just a policy statement, but a commitment to cleansing the department of corruption and restoring public trust in law enforcement.

Quetta, a city that has long been at the crossroads of challenges—ranging from security concerns to refugee management—requires leadership that is both firm and empathetic. DIG Imran Shaukat’s directives signal a new era of accountability within the police force. His stance against bribery shows his determination to uphold the rule of law and ensure that no officer misuses their authority for personal gain.

Equally important was his message regarding Afghan refugees. He emphasized that police officers must not harass or mistreat Afghan nationals residing in the region. Instead, he urged them to ensure their smooth and dignified deportation process, reminding all that Afghan refugees are “our brothers and sisters.” Such a statement demonstrates a rare balance of discipline and compassion—qualities that form the foundation of effective policing in a diverse and sensitive environment like Balochistan.

DIG Imran Shaukat’s vision combines firmness against corruption with kindness toward the vulnerable—a blend that can strengthen both the image and efficiency of the police force. His approach, if implemented sincerely, could help rebuild the bridge of trust between the police and the public.

In a time when the country needs ethical leadership and empathy more than ever, DIG Imran Shaukat’s message shines as a reminder that true strength lies not in power, but in fairness and humanity.

Iran’s Strategic Victory: The Turning Point in the War Against Israel
By Raheel Khan Kasi

In a historic and unprecedented shift in Middle Eastern geopolitics, the long-brewing confrontation between Iran and Israel has reached a decisive phase. While the battlefield is riddled with complexities and the fog of war still hangs heavy, one truth emerges from the smoke: Iran has won this war—politically, strategically, and symbolically.

This victory is not measured merely in missile counts or battlefield advances, but in Iran’s ability to reshape the regional order, strengthen its axis of resistance, and shatter the myth of Israeli invincibility—a perception long upheld in Western media and military doctrine.

The Collapse of Deterrence

For decades, Israel relied on its strategic deterrence—backed by U.S. military superiority and regional intelligence dominance. Yet, Iran managed to pierce this shield, directly challenging Israel through proxy forces and asymmetric warfare, without inviting full-scale retaliation from Western powers. The very fact that Israel now finds itself surrounded—by Hezbollah in Lebanon, armed resistance in Gaza, and growing unrest in the West Bank—shows Iran’s success in decentralizing the battlefield and turning every border into a front line.

Strategic Patience, Calculated Offense

Iran’s war doctrine has been one of strategic patience and calibrated escalation. Through years of careful planning, it has created a web of influence across the region—from Iraq and Syria to Lebanon and Yemen. These alliances have not only survived economic sanctions and military pressure but have also evolved into a unified axis of resistance, capable of confronting Israel on multiple fronts simultaneously.

While Israel launched strikes and campaigns expecting quick results, Iran turned each confrontation into a long war of attrition, eroding Israeli morale, dividing its politics, and exposing vulnerabilities within its defense infrastructure.

The Battle of Narratives

Iran’s victory is also one of information warfare and ideological resonance. Across the Muslim world, the image of Iran has shifted—from a pariah state to the vanguard of resistance against Zionism. Meanwhile, Israel finds itself more isolated than ever before, facing condemnation not just from adversaries but from a growing segment of the international community disillusioned by its military aggression and occupation policies.

In global forums, particularly among the Global South, Iran’s stance is increasingly viewed as defensive rather than provocative, while Israel’s actions are seen as disproportionate and rooted in decades of occupation.

A New Middle East Emerging

With U.S. influence waning and the Abraham Accords failing to produce a united Arab front against Iran, a new regional balance is forming. Countries that once covertly aligned with Israel now reconsider their positions, fearing popular backlash and the failure of Israel’s military superiority. Iran, on the other hand, has emerged as a regional power broker, not through formal treaties, but through resilience, ideology, and regional alliances built on shared resistance to occupation and hegemony.

Conclusion: The War That Changed Everything

While military operations may still continue and battles may flare up again, the broader political and strategic outcome is clear—Iran has emerged victorious. It has forced the world to reconsider who holds the upper hand in the Middle East and redefined what it means to win a modern war.

For Israel, the challenge now is not only rebuilding its damaged image but rethinking its long-term strategy. For Iran, this is not the end of a war—it is the beginning of a new regional order, one where resistance is no longer a slogan, but a strategic reality.

Pakistan Responded Prudently to Indian Aggression: DG ISPR

ISLAMABAD – May 21, 2025:
Despite heightened tensions following a missile strike by India earlier this month, Pakistan continues to uphold communication channels with its eastern neighbor through established military protocols, according to the Director General of Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Major General Ahmad Sharif Chaudhry.

In an interview with The New York Times, Maj Gen Chaudhry revealed that India’s unprovoked missile attack on May 7, which targeted strategic locations including Noor Khan Airbase, was met with a “measured yet robust” response from Pakistan. He confirmed that the Pakistan Air Force swiftly neutralized the threat and restored its operational capabilities without delay.

Maj Gen Chaudhry highlighted Pakistan’s transparent approach in reporting both personnel and material losses, contrasting it with what he described as India’s opaque conduct. “We have shown clarity and responsibility. Can India say the same?” he questioned.

The DG ISPR also accused India of continuing its aggressive posturing, despite Pakistan’s consistent adherence to the 2021 ceasefire understanding. “Pakistan remains committed to regional peace and stability,” he stated, adding that Islamabad’s response reflects its role as a responsible and mature state actor.

According to the report, Pakistan’s air defense forces successfully downed six Indian fighter aircraft in retaliation, underscoring the effectiveness of the country’s aerial defense systems.

IHC Orders Removal of Aleema Khan and Raoof Hasan from Travel Restriction Lists

Date: May 13, 2025

ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Tuesday directed the authorities to remove Aleema Khan, sister of former Prime Minister and PTI founder Imran Khan, and party spokesperson Raoof Hasan from the Passport Control List (PCL) and Provisional National Identification List (PNIL).

Justice Khadim Hussain Soomro heard Aleema Khan’s plea and instructed her to approach the relevant trial court to obtain formal permission for foreign travel. Her legal team included advocates Ali Bukhari, Khalid Yousuf Chaudhry, and Niazullah Niazi.

In a separate proceeding, Justice Inam Amin Minhas accepted the petition filed by Raoof Hasan, terming the inclusion of his name on the PCL as unlawful and politically motivated. The court ordered his immediate removal from the list and advised him to also seek travel approval from the trial court.

These rulings highlight the judiciary’s stance on upholding legal procedures and preventing misuse of travel restrictions against political figures.

Pakistan’s Moment of Glory: Saluting the Valor of Our Armed Forces

By Raheel Khan Kasi | Journalist & Political Analyst

In a historic and hard-fought chapter of South Asian history, Pakistan has emerged with pride, dignity, and resilience, following a decisive and successful defense of its sovereignty in the face of Indian aggression. As the dust of battle settles, it is not just a military triumph we witness—it is the reaffirmation of Pakistan’s unity, strategic brilliance, and unshakable spirit. I extend heartfelt congratulations to the brave sons of the soil—our Pakistan Army and the Pakistan Air Force—for leading this proud nation to victory with unmatched courage and professionalism.

This war was not one that Pakistan sought, but when the call of duty arose, our armed forces answered with resolve and precision. The Pakistan Army stood like an unyielding wall, safeguarding every inch of our motherland. Their command, discipline, and tactics demonstrated a level of preparedness and strategic maturity that rivaled global standards. With sheer determination, they repelled hostile incursions and turned back an adversary that had underestimated the strength and spirit of Pakistan.

Equally awe-inspiring was the role of the Pakistan Air Force. Our skies were defended with brilliance. From the thundering roars of the F-16s to the rapid response operations that neutralized enemy threats, the PAF proved to the world why it is considered one of the most formidable air arms in the region. The professionalism, accuracy, and restraint displayed in the heat of conflict speak volumes about the training and moral strength of our pilots and engineers.

But this victory was not only fought on the borders—it was won in the hearts of the people. The unity displayed by Pakistanis from all walks of life, standing behind their defenders, was a force multiplier. This collective resolve sent a clear message: Pakistan may be peace-loving, but it will never compromise on its sovereignty or its honor.

As a journalist and analyst, I have long observed the regional power dynamics, and it is now more evident than ever that Pakistan’s doctrine of credible deterrence and strategic foresight is not just theory—it is operational, effective, and deeply rooted in national pride.

To our soldiers who stood in the trenches, our pilots who ruled the skies, and our leadership that guided us through the storm—Pakistan salutes you.

This is not just a military win; it is a historic reminder that unity, faith, and discipline—the guiding principles of Quaid-e-Azam—remain alive in the heartbeat of every Pakistani.

Long live Pakistan. Long live the Armed Forces.

Pakistan Denies Requesting Ceasefire Amid Recent Tensions with India

Director General ISPR, Lieutenant General Ahmad Sharif Chaudhry, firmly dismissed claims that Pakistan sought a ceasefire during the latest military standoff with India. Speaking during a joint press briefing with Air Vice Marshal Aurangzeb (PAF) and Vice Admiral Rab Nawaz (PN), he clarified that the proposal for de-escalation came exclusively from India.

“Pakistan made no plea for a ceasefire; the initiative was entirely theirs,” he asserted, putting to rest circulating misinformation.

Addressing further speculation, the DG ISPR categorically denied the presence of any Indian pilot in Pakistani custody. He acknowledged that while some infrastructure sustained damage and an aircraft was slightly affected during the Indian strikes, repairs are underway and the jet will soon return to service.

He praised the swift and professional response of Pakistan’s armed forces throughout the engagement.
