I recently decided to revisit various memories, incidents and events that have taken place in life and capture them the best way I possibly can with my blog.

The first one that came to mind was triggered by the recent news that has been going on around the rains in Dubai and the challenges that have been caused in the aftermath.

I am truly amazed by all the stories that we have been seeing of all the determined, passionate individuals who have worked towards and achieved their goals and passions in life after going through the Google Career Certificates program.

Hailing from Quetta, Balochistan, Sakina’s story is another one which is truly outstanding. Facing various financial hurdles and challenges since childhood, Sakina remained optimistic. She relied on scholarships throughout the schooling and educational journey, and worked hard to land several jobs and a stable income. Despite that, it could not quench her thirst for achieving something more..

And she managed to transform her life, with a little help from Google Career Certificates. She completed 3 certificates, and found the tools necessary to achieve her dreams.

Fast forward to today, Sakina runs a thriving online fashion boutique – a testament to her determination, passion and drive and the transformative power of the Google Career Certificates program.

May this Eid serve as a beacon of hope for a world in need of healing. Let us rejoice in the spirit of freedom and understanding, embracing diversity and respecting each other's paths. Let us also hold dear the lessons of Ramadan throughout the year: tolerance, patience, endurance, and empathy.

As we celebrate, let our thoughts extend to all those suffering, especially our brothers and sisters in Gaza, enduring unimaginable hardships under the relentless attacks and unjust invasion from Israel. May those in power heed the call of humanity, tirelessly working to end the cycle of death and destruction. May compassion triumph over conflict, and may peace prevail, ushering in a brighter tomorrow for all.

But let us not stop there; may compassion guide us to do what we can within our own circles, cities, and countries. From supporting our families to aiding the homeless and poor on the streets, from caring for animals to comforting the elderly and the sick, let us remember to extend a helping hand wherever possible.

May the future hold brighter and better days, and may the children of tomorrow bring even more celebration and joy to all. Eid Mubarak.
