Iqbal Murtaza, Director Sports – Minhaj University Lahore, while speaking at the 59th Meeting of the Standing Sub Committee of the Pakistan University Sports Board (PUSB) 2025, organized in collaboration with the Higher Education Commission (HEC) at UMT, emphasized the importance of prioritizing sports facilities across educational institutions and universities.
He highlighted that a strong sporting environment not only supports education but also provides healthy entertainment and helps students channel their energy in positive ways, reducing aggression and shaping well-rounded personalities.

We are very pleased to host the meeting of the Pakistan University Sports Board here at the University of Management and Technology. It is an honor for UMT to be part of the planning for the upcoming inter-university sports competitions scheduled for next year.
