"The essence of strategic governance is not being good in everything. It means finding a coherent story where you focus on things that people find important. Anti-establishment, populist parties have better intuitive sense than liberal establishment politicians who are afraid of choosing such a niche" says Administrategy co-author, prof. Maciej Kisilowski, in an interview with the Slovak Spectator.

The essence of creativity and good governance is about finding a coherent story. When every city gets smart, being a stupid city will be an advantage, says a strategic management expert.

Last week started with a fascinating discussion at Kiev-Mohyla Business School, where we launch the Ukrainian version of “Administrategy,” published by Osnovy Publishing. Mr. Dmytro Shymkiv, the deputy head of the administration of the President of Ukraine, honored us with his presence and thoughtful comments. But we were not just exchanging pleasantries. More than 2 hours passed with tough questions about the everyday reality and possible paths for the future of Ukraine’s public management. Thank you all! #Адміністратегія

Last Wednesday, we spent an exciting morning engaged in a discussion on the importance of strategy for organisational and personal success, with an elite group of senior public managers from across the Ukrainian government. Thank you Center for Legal and Policy Reform for coorganising, and the National Agency of Ukraine on Civil Service and its President, Mr. Konstiantyn Vaschenko, for making this professional exchange of ideas possible. The article from 2015 but still influencial and obviously worth sharing.
As we always say - strategic management includes ability to integrate people, knowledge, and key processes around clearly-stated objectives. This is particularly important for public-sector agencies that often have ambitious, high-level goals, this simply bears a fruit.
Estonia, along with countries such as Israel, Finland, Ireland or South Korea found a good way to manage three faces of public value: good solutions, political support, and customer engagement and satisfaction. Now there is the right time for countries from our region to catch up with strategic management! And Aministrategy is the right tool to do this!

The only reason more countries aren't adopting Estonia's e-government system is the absence of political will.

Działania LOT-u pokazują, że coraz częściej (Admini)strategia to nie jest tylko puste hasło.
"W Administrategii zwracamy uwagę, że fetysz efektywności – szybciej, lepiej, więcej – nie wystarczy. Niezbędne jest użycie nowoczesnych narzędzi zarządzania strategicznego.
