Breaking News! From Monrovia, Liberia.

Honorable Supreme Court rules in the Bill of Information filed by Hon. HonCllr J Fonati Koffa..

The Supreme Court of Liberia has retrained its ruling into the saga at the Liberia National Legislature ( House of Representatives) stating that " The Supreme Court Opinion and Judgement of December 6, 2024, is that any sitting or action by the " Majority block" ( Respondents) to the exclusion of Speaker Koffa, the duly elected Presiding officer of the House of Representatives, while he is present and available to preside is UNCONSTITUTIONAL and without pale of the LAW" .

This clarification from the Supreme Court, has set the stage for the current Government headed by President Joseph Nyuma Boakai to respect the rule of law and the constitution of Liberia that he promised to uphold.

Congratulations also to the US near Liberia for critically reviewing the matter and engaging with stakeholders from all spectrums.

The latest release is geared towards hearing the Bill of Information filled by Hon. J. HonCllr J Fonati Koffa , the Speaker of the 55th Legislature.

In the communication, the Supreme Court referred to Hon. Richard Koon as the "PURPORTED SPEAKER" casting extreme doubt over his legitimatecy.

From all indications, it's believed that the Supreme Court will render Hon. Koon's purported Speakership illegitimate.

- State Prosecutors in the Capitol Building Fire Saga has asked the Judge for more time to gather evidence. This action clearly shows that Liberia is in a decline as it relates to the rule of law. In the ongoing Capitol Fire case, state prosecutors on Tuesday requested additional time to produce key evidence—a cell phone allegedly linked to defendant Tom Etheridge.
