There are less than two weeks left until this publication's release date: Łubin "Gaza" on CD. By visiting our bandcamp profile, you can listen to two tracks from the upcoming album before the premiere. It's the second album by duo Rafał Kołacki (, HATI) & Grzegorz Kaźmierski. Their music pulsates with an intense, almost industrial techno rhythm with a punk vibe. This raw, trance sound energy becomes a moving background for authentic recordings woven into the tracks – fragments of reports from the riots, voices of protesters and moving testimonies of Gaza’s inhabitants… Lubin does not take a clear side in this complex dispute, but with deep concern and anger looks at the effects of military and political actions that led to the unprecedented destruction of Gaza. The album is an expression of protest against violent solutions and deep disgust at the scale of destruction, which deprived hundreds of thousands of people of homes, access to drinking water and hope for the future. The album becomes a moving lament over the fall of the city and the dramatic fate of its inhabitants. “Gaza” is more than just a music album. It is a bold and moving artistic intervention, the effects of which provoke reflection, forcing us to confront the brutal reality of the conflict in the Middle East. Through his own music and authentic records from that region, Łubin creates a moving image of human suffering and an appeal for attention to the consequences of violence. This is an album that resonates long after the last sounds have faded, evoking in listeners an urgent need for peace and justice...
