your grandma talk about time.
like it's a friend. or an enemy.
it's neither.

time doesn't wait. for anyone. for anything.
that's its nature.
but its one rule? yeah. to keep you alert.

alert to what's passing.
alert to what's possible.
alert to the fact you gotta move.

it's not trying to be mean.
it's just the most consistent, nagging reminder there is.
use it. or lose it. simple.

life's got two main courses in its curriculum.

course 1: tough times.
the final exam? not giving up.
pass that, you unlock a new level of resilience.

course 2: great times.
the assignment? stay humble. be grateful.
ace that, you keep your perspective. you don't implode.

both are just data points.
teaching you how to operate better.
one builds grit. the other builds character.
you need both.

I picked up a book yesterday, opened it, and this is what I saw:

Going deep doesn’t mean going backward. Sometimes, we look at things too closely, but if we step back and see the bigger picture, we might find a way to bounce back and go even higher than before!

The important part is on the right side of the picture.
