I think one of the biggest lies we accept is that because everybody is doing it one way, that must be the only way.

Especially when you move abroad.
People will tell you what you have to do to survive before you've even had the chance to ask yourself what YOU actually want to do.

My own story turned out differently.

Not because I had everything figured out.

I simply kept looking until I found an option that made sense for the kind of life I wanted to build.
And maybe somebody needs that reminder today:
