Know your lyrics by heart, rehearse and recreate stage conditions as much as possible. Prepare with your band or mix your tracks well for a live performance. Sign a deal and consult it with your lawyer if you're green. Be well before time for your soundcheck and be nice to stage technicians and sound engineer - they're the ones making your gig sound'n'look great! Have fun and when on stage just go with the flow. No one cares if it ain't perfect but they'll love you if you're be honest sharing your energy'n'craft with a smile and kindness.

Spend time with people afterwards let'em have their photos and small talk. It's a pleasure both for you as an artist and for them who'll appreciate you and remember you that way.
