Here’s a recent photo shoot I did with the clothes I once wore during my clubbing days.

Let’s talk about transformation.

We all conform to different versions of ourselves throughout our lives. We become who we think we’re supposed to be, sometimes without even realizing how far we’ve drifted from who we really are.

There’s nothing wrong with who I was. I actually loved dressing up, going out, clubbing, dancing, and being part of that world. But eventually, I realized it no longer aligned with my values or the life I wanted to live.

Sometimes transformation is simply letting go of everything that no longer feels like you.

Today, I’m comfortable with less. Less clothes. Less possessions. Less attachment to what society says I should want.

I don’t really “go out” anymore. I’m perfectly happy walking barefoot and living the simple farm life. Because for me, going out now means going out into nature, chasing waterfalls, finding hidden places, watching sunsets, and experiencing the beauty of life.

Adventure instead of nightlife, connection instead of distraction, and being present instead of trying to escape.

I traded the club for the jungle, the beaches, and the beauty of life.

The nightlife for the wild life.

Before, I lived to impress. Now, I live to inspire.

And even though I rarely dress up anymore, if I ever do have somewhere to go, I’d still dress like this. Because this style has always felt like me. I didn’t lose my sense of style. I simply stopped needing clothes to define me.

I’ve never felt more comfortable in my own skin. 🌿🌅

I may not know how to flirt in the traditional sense. 😂

My way of flirting is taking you to beautiful, magical places found throughout this paradise we call Borikén, barefoot in nature, chasing waterfalls, watching sunsets, and getting lost somewhere far from the noise.

Then sitting together and having deep conversations about life, consciousness, existence, and the mystery of simply being alive.

Not impressing you with what I have, but sharing with you what makes me feel alive. 🌿🌊🌅

Some might find me weird because when you live outside of what many consider “normal,” anything different can seem strange.

But I’ve realized that “normal” is often just another word for what most people are used to.

I’ve never been interested in living according to someone else’s definition of how life should look. I’d rather choose simplicity over excess, depth over superficiality, authenticity over approval, and meaningful experiences over simply following the crowd.

There’s a certain freedom that comes with no longer needing to fit in. You become comfortable walking your own path, even when nobody understands it.

Maybe I am a weirdo.

But I’d rather be a weirdo living authentically than spend my life betraying myself just to be accepted.

At some point, you realize you don’t need to belong everywhere.

You just need to belong to yourself. 🌿✨

All my life in Brooklyn, NY, I struggled with depression and spent so much of my life feeling miserable.

I was constantly trying to fill a void. Chasing happiness through a bottle. Getting high on cannabis. Always looking for something outside of myself to help me escape what I didn’t want to feel.

Today, I’m 10 years sober from alcohol and over a year free from cannabis.

One of the reasons I left Brooklyn and came to Borikén was because I wanted a better life.

Brooklyn had become my cage.

And here, surrounded by nature, something inside me finally began to change.

I found peace. I found freedom. I found happiness.

But more importantly, I found myself.

Nature became my medicine, my therapist, my teacher, my sanctuary. 🌿

I connected deeply with nature, and through that connection, I connected deeply with my higher self.

This is where I did the inner work. Where I faced myself, healed, grew stronger, and began to understand something I had been disconnected from for most of my life:

We are not separate from nature.

We are nature.

We are all one.

And this is how you’ll find me now.

Enjoying my solitude. Laughing. Playing. Contemplating.

Because I genuinely have a great time enjoying my own company.

I’m not drunk. I’m not high.

I’m just high on life, baby.

And life is indeed beautiful.

Honestly… this is the best trip I’ve ever been on. 🌊🌴✨

I spent years surviving, trying to fit in. Now I just want to live life to its fullest.

Chasing waterfalls, rainbows, and sunsets. 🌈🌊🌅
Choosing adventure over routine, freedom over expectations, and presence over simply getting by.

Enjoying the peace, freedom, and happiness I found deep within myself.

Maybe this is my next trick: finally becoming fully alive. Fully present. Here and now. Making beautiful memories and actually being there to experience them. ✨

Y qué privilegio poder llamar a Borikén mi hogar. ❤️🌿🇵🇷

I always see people leaving the beach before sunset, and I’ll sometimes remind them to stay. Many tell me the same thing: “I’m hungry.”

I’m hungry too.

But I’m hungry for sunsets. For beautiful memories. For the little moments that make life worth living.

Many people live as if tomorrow is guaranteed. I don’t.

That’s why I rarely leave the beach before the sun goes down. Because you never know when the sunset you’re watching could be the last sunset you ever see.

There’s nowhere else I need to rush off to.

Connect with the beauty around you. Slow down. Breathe. Become mindful of every detail. The colors in the sky. The sound of the waves. The warmth of the last light touching your skin. The breeze embracing your body.

Life isn’t waiting for you somewhere in the future.

Life is happening to you right now.

Don’t take these moments for granted.

I truly found my peace, my freedom, and my happiness in Borikén. And this is what that looks like.

Of course I went again and again… 😂 I am for sure living my best life. Completely sober, yet intoxicated by my inner child coming alive. This is what a date with me looks like, and I sure know how to take myself out on the best dates. 😂 My happiness doesn't depend on anyone cause I surely know how to have a kick-ass time on my own.

The inner child is more than a memory of who we were. It is that part of us that still knows how to be amazed by the simplest things, follow curiosity without needing a reason, laugh until your stomach hurts, be silly without worrying how you look, and experience happiness without having to justify it.

Somewhere along the way, many of us became too serious. We forgot how to simply play. But that child is still in there, curious, wild, silly, and capable of finding magic in a river, a rock, a splash of water, or a ridiculous barefoot adventure.

Releasing your inner child isn't about acting immature. It's about reconnecting with the part of yourself that existed before the world taught you to suppress your wonder.

I no longer identify with an age. I am ageless. I am forever young.

Being forever young isn't about looking young or denying the passage of time. It means refusing to let a number define how I experience life. It means keeping my curiosity alive, protecting my sense of wonder, laughing freely, being unapologetically silly, exploring, playing, and remaining open to the magic of being alive.

So play. Get dirty. Be silly. Laugh loudly. Be curious. Do something just because it's fun.

Life is too short to outgrow the things that make you feel alive.

Stay curious. Stay wild. Stay playful. Stay silly. Stay forever young.
