🎟✨ Introducing the 2025 DMC World Golden Ticket Recipient: DJ Fummy (Japan) ✨🎟

For nearly four decades, the DMC World DJ Championships have stood as the ultimate proving ground for DJs worldwide. This year, we introduced something new — the DMC World Golden Ticket.

Unlike any other path, the Golden Ticket is not applied for, requested, or won through competition. It is awarded at the sole discretion of DMC Headquarters to honor a DJ whose artistry, impact, and spirit embody the DMC legacy. Only one is chosen each year.

For 2025, that honor goes to DJ Fummy of Japan 🇯🇵
A trailblazer in the scene, Fummy has continually pushed the boundaries of skill and creativity, inspiring DJs across the globe.

This October in Tokyo, DJ Fummy will stand alongside Classic champions from around the world on the greatest stage in DJ culture: the DMC World Finals. 🏆🌏

I was a VIP special guest at the
First ever EchoTalks DJ “Meet and Greet” sponsored by and hosted by

I took this picture just a little while before the event began.
It’s always a great pleasure for me to be participating and supporting these type of DJ events that aims at growing the community of DJs,
Especially with one of Puerto Rico’s Premiere DJs,

Also, to the far right is what some of my DJ colleagues deem to be as the First Turntablist of Puerto Rico,
DJ Junior Cataño.
Every time I see these guys it’s like seeing long lost brothers.
