Today…we turn 5!! 🎉🫶🏽
5 years of choosing you, loving you, and praying for you…not just in the easy moments, but in the moments that have stretched us, taught us, and grown us!
We’re not the same people we were in 2021 when we said “I Do” on that beach in front of our village, and to be honest, that’s the beauty of it! We’ve had to grow into this love by making the conscious decision to continually choose one another! 🤞🏽
Boogie, my prayer as we step into this next phase of our marriage is that God will help us to continually love each other fiercely, with grace, patience, and intentionality. I pray that we continually break generational cycles that were never ours to carry. I pray that we continue to choose US over and over again, and that our marriage continues to become a positive example for those coming behind us… not perfect, but REAL and rooted in love…our love for God and for one another! 🫶🏽❤️
And somehow, fittingly, on the day that football season starts…we’re stepping into another year of us! Here we are….still side by side, cheering on our favorite team 🐻⬇️ and also choosing team Clay Way over everything!!
