Three kids is WILD 🙃 but hearing that little heartbeat is unlike anything else 🥹 Most pregnancy confirmation appointments happen between 8-11 weeks but because I am using a new OBGYN for this pregnancy, they brought me in at 6. At that first appointment you can expect a urine sample, a trans-vaginal ultrasound, hearing that first heartbeat and a chat with your doctor about any concerns or questions.
My first pregnancy revealed a large fibroid that degenerated at 19 weeks & left me in unimaginable pain for nearly 4 weeks. Because of the size, there was a concern for pre-term birth if baby ran out of space. He indeed came early at 38w6d, but perfectly healthy with the easiest labor & delivery. My second pregnancy was perfect, with him arriving easily the day after his due date. This go round at 36, this is considered a geriatric pregnancy 👵🏽😂 but we have no concerns in terms of health.
Excited to share more of this third pregnancy as I plan & prep for delivery & bringing home a third tiny human 😬🙈
