The United Nations declared yesterday that the Zionist entity has committed genocide in Gaza, confirming what Palestinians have reported since October 2023.

The UN Independent International Commission of Inquiry, part of the UN's Human Rights Council, in its 72-page report, stated: "It is clear there is an intent to destroy the Palestinians in Gaza through acts that meet the criteria set forth in the Genocide Convention", and that “The responsibility for these atrocity crimes lies with Israeli authorities at the highest echelons who have orchestrated a genocidal campaign for almost two years now with the specific intent to destroy the Palestinian group in Gaza.”

Gaza's Government Media Office announced today that Israeli Occupation Forces, in the past few weeks, have destroyed 13,000 tents and displaced 350,000 residents from Gaza City alone. The attacks are part of the IOF's campaign to force all Palestinians out of Gaza City.

The recent IOF attacks also demolished 10,000 housing units. All neighborhoods in Gaza City have been devastated, with some entire districts completely flattened.

21 UN, EU, and international agencies, including the WHO, World Bank, and UNICEF, confirmed today what Palestinians and rights monitors have reported for over a year - there is a famine in Gaza.

The 21 agencies confirmed it is a Phase 5 famine - the most severe level possible. "It marks the first time a famine has been officially confirmed in the Middle East region", they stated today. The organizations called for an "immediate and sustained ceasefire" and "unimpeded access for a mass influx of assistance".

83 percent of Gaza deaths were civilians — leaked Israeli intelligence documents

Leaked Israeli military intelligence documents show that of the 53,000 people killed in Gaza through May 2025, only 17 percent (8,900) were combatants. The remaining 83 percent were civilians.

Analysts say such a horrific civilian death toll is rare in modern conflicts — comparable only to the Rwanda and Srebrenica massacres.

After visiting her client, Shaimaa Khazem from Jenin, northern West Bank, in the IOF's Damon Prison, lawyer Hassan Abbadi described the brutal conditions Palestinian women there face.

"They forced the women into the yard without hijabs and sleeveless, threw two of them to the ground and stepped on them, and beat another prisoner in the yard...Constant suffocation, shouting, insults, and screaming all the time. Israeli and international "aid drops" have killed 26 Palestinians in Gaza, while providing only 0.4% of the aid needed, as reported by the Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor.

Palestinians have repeatedly called for aid to be delivered by land instead. In the past week, aid drops crushed to death two children, ages 11 and 15, in Gaza. In spite of Palestinians' demands, Belgium, Canada, France, Germany, Jordan, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Spain, and the United Arab Emirates took part in the "aid drops".
