The World Health Organization (WHO) warned of the severe deterioration of the health situation in the Gaza Strip, noting that more than 15,600 patients require urgent medical evacuation for treatment outside the enclave, and that over 15,000 people have lost their limbs due to the recent war. The organization called for reopening medical corridors and strengthening disease surveillance amid the collapse of infrastructure and health services, warning of a worsening humanitarian and health crisis if the closure and delays in medical aid continue.
حذّرت منظمة الصحة العالمية من التدهور الخطير في الوضع الصحي بقطاع غزة، مشيرة إلى أن أكثر من 15,600 مريض بحاجة إلى إجلاء طبي عاجل لتلقي العلاج خارج القطاع، وأن أكثر من 15 ألف شخص فقدوا أطرافهم جراء الحرب الأخيرة. ودعت المنظمة إلى إعادة فتح الممرات الطبية وتعزيز مراقبة الأمراض الناتجة عن تدهور البنية التحتية والخدمات الصحية، محذّرة من تفاقم الأزمة الإنسانية والصحية في حال استمرار الإغلاق وتأخر الدعم الطبي.
