If you’ve been around, you know that our system has been (pre)-installed at Ribeira d’Ilhas last week.

Today we took things further: connecting the first camera, testing the digital kiosk, and running a couple of technical checks. Step by step, our very first Surf REC unit is coming to life.

The next days are all about testing and after that, it will be fully yours. Stay close by, the stoke is coming!

While Erin was rolling through Europe, Ribeira d’Ilhas woke up with a surprise… 

After months in the making, our very first Surf REC unit is finally taking shape right here at Ribeira d’Ilhas. A long time coming — and this is only the beginning.

200 beach days. 300 sessions. 400 users. 3K+ followers.
What a journey. To everyone who was part of Surf REC’s MVP phase: THANK YOU.

Every session, every wave, every piece of feedback helped us shape this project into what it is today. We tested with you, built for you, and learned alongside you.

From makeshift setups to full-on learning curves, we’ve come a long way. And now, the countdown begins... We’re getting ready to officially launch our first fixed location right in Ribeira d’Ilhas.

No more nomad mode. The next chapter is almost here, and we couldn’t have done it without you.

Still buzzing from yesterday!

Huge thanks to for inviting us to share the Surf REC story on the big screen. It was an honour to present our journey, our mission, and what’s coming next.

✔️ Available to work on the beach and spread the stoke!
