🔧🤖 We’re Hiring: Robotics Software Engineer!

Do you dream in C++, Python, and ROS? Want to build the next generation of autonomous robots? This one’s for you.

We’re looking for a Robotics Software Engineer to join our Lisbon team. You will work closely with our robotics partner , focusing on the expansion of Surf REC.

What you’ll do:

🚀 Develop software for mobile robots & smart automated devices
🧠 Build algorithms for motion planning, perception & control.
🔌 Integrate sensors like LiDAR, cameras, IMUs & more.
🤝 Work closely with mechanical & electrical teams.
🌍 Support deployment of robotic systems in real environments.

What we’re looking for:

🎓 Bachelor’s degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Physics or related field.
💡 Strong skills in C++ / Python / Embedded systems.
📐 Solid understanding of kinematics, control theory & automation.
🛠️ Experience with ROS/ROS2, real-time systems or machine vision is a plus.
🔍 Problem-solver with an analytical mindset.

Ribeira d’Ilhas surf is back next week, let’s have a look:

Monday, tipping point between this f*****g storm to finally some waves. But bar in mind, like humans, the ocean also get a kind of hangover after a big storm. Go easy, check it out, and if you’re not confident come back the next day

Tuesday, waves are going to pump, especially with the morning offshore. Get out there, it’ll be fun and accessible

Wednesday onwards will be quite fun, except from Thursday that looks quite windy. Trust yourself, and remember there is always a spot nearby for what you are focusing on at the moment in surfing. In Portugal that usually means 30m driving max.

We will be there to record your moment back in the water at Ribeira D’ilhas, see you there!
