Just putting this out there to say if you're not on board or don't have plans to be onboard, that's not a good thing. 

Irrespective of what you do, figuring out ways to integrate digitisation into your entire system will soon no longer be a luxury but a necessity.

Needless to say, if you haven’t already, the thing you should be focused on now is planning. It doesn’t even have to be an excruciatingly detailed plan, but there needs to be a guide towards achieving those goals.

Besides my education which has been mostly my parents (and in recent times, quite a bit of my own) monetary investments, I’d say GF. Ivory in terms of both money, time and nurturing. Other monetary investments, I’m afraid pales in comparison at the moment (even though I’m working on it!)

As the year winds down, remember to appreciate the people of your brand. From team members to collaborators, clients, mentors and well-wishers who are all stakeholders of your business in one way or the other.

There are days when working from home seems like such torment.

One time, everyone seemed to have an errand that needed running by the family member who works from home and that day, I could hardly get any actual work done.

Sometimes, it's the distraction (or should we call it laziness) from being in your comfort zone with a bed just within reach, a stocked kitchen and your TV too.

Other times its technical issues like electricity or internet disruptions, or even your computer acting up ( this particular one can be crazy without the support of a technical team).

You are definitely not alone in trying to battle the hassles of remote working.

Here are some tips that help me out in the situation.

Always create a to-do list the night before and work around it.

Intentionally put systems in place to reduce distractions like creating a workstation and setting boundaries (which may be broken sometimes, but believe me, they'll be generally respected).

Do whatever it takes to avoid the urge to procrastinate, create a work schedule and follow it.

Freeze apps that might be distracting to you or get a work phone with only applications that are useful for work.

There are many elements to building an ultimate brand, but irrespective of the structures, preparations and effort you put in place, accessibility is what makes it all pay off.

To be accessible is to be admired by all and not just a few. This includes even those that don’t necessarily need your brand - they too should be able to see your brand and want to be associated with it. That’s the level of relatability that you should aspire towards as a brand.

Just like any attractive person, the physical experience of the person is what first catches on. Elements like size, shape, outfit choice(including colors and fit), smell, poise etc, all perfectly combined, make the sum total of why a person is perceived as simply alluring. You must think of your brand in this way and figure out what your allure must be to be attractive to not just your ideal customer, but really to anyone one who has eyes.
