I had the privilege of attending the Night of Tribute for legendary sportsmen at the Nigerian Institute of International Affairs, Victoria Island. The event honored 5 iconic athletes, including 4 football legends ; Charles Bassey,MON, Moses Effiong,MON, Christian Chukwu,MFR , Chairman and Obisia Nwakpa, Golden Glove; a world wrestler who sadly passed away in 2025. Kudos to Allen Onyeama, CEO of Airpeace Airline, for supporting this meaningful celebration of patriotic heroes. Their families also benefited from this kind gesture. Well done! 👏💯

Thanks to Uncle Segun Odegbami and the Institute for putting together the tasteful glowing tribute in songs, memory lane stories and renditions. It was indeed a beautiful evening. Quite innovative and commendable. Kudos to everyone behind the scene. I salute your efforts.

Delays are not denials my dear friends, Sisters and brothers from another mother, but divine redirects. They are opportunities to build unwavering faith, deep rooted trust, and resilience. God's timing is perfect, and what's brewing in your life needs time to marinate, to develop roots and a strong foundation. Don't rush the process please; let God's goodness simmer in your life, and you'll be left with a lasting, savory impact.

Delays are not failures either: it's God's protection and preservation.They're opportunities for growth, learning, and building character.Trust God's timing in every situation. He is never late; He owns your manual and blue print. His plan is perfect, and what's happening in your life is being carefully crafted.Patience is key. Let God's goodness simmer in your life, and you'll be amazed at the outcome.

It's so unwise to microwave what God is trying to Marinate. Don't you know that the seasoning simmer deeper when food is cooked slowly!
