'Everything is upside down', that's the line on every lips: ASUU strike,
unemployment, terrorism, the struggling, power issues and the greatest of them all corruption. I am not a tree-hugger, neither do I live under a rock, I am a part of the system and so are you.
Let me take you back to secondary school biology. Remember the topic on termites, with the leader as the queen. Let me brush up your memory, termites often build up a colony on wood. So little by little, they feed on the wood from inside till the entire structure collapses. Every one assists in the collapsing, the queen, the workers, the soldiers etc come back to Nigeria, we like to point to our leaders and tell them they are responsible for the nations issues. Right? Wrong!
We all responsible.
Come with me, let me take you on a trip to the real world.
Look at the parent that is paying for 'cheats', for his sons Jamb; look at the trader selling fake products at expensive prices, look at the teachers assisting cheating in exams, look at the Aba boys pirating Nigerian movies and look at you buying them, look at the young man 'torrenting' songs and videos, look at the lawmakers making laws they themselves don't follow, look at the lecturer giving an exam to students -- he only came to class three times that semester, yet he expects A's; we are all part of the system (even I am not a saint) so the next time you wish to blame GEJ, OBJ or IBB look at yourself first and see if you not part of the problem.
Imagine a corruption free Nigeria, it begins with you.
