RBK INSPECTS ONGOING CONSTRUCTION OF NEW TYPE C PRIMARY HEALTH CENTRE

Over the weekend, the Executive Chairman of Lekki LCDA, Engr. Rasaki Bamidele Kasali (MNSCE, MNATE), embarked on an inspection tour of the ongoing construction of the new Type C Primary Health Centre in Lekki.

The visit provided an opportunity to assess the progress of work and reinforce the administration’s commitment to improving healthcare infrastructure and expanding access to essential medical services for residents.

When completed, the facility is expected to strengthen primary healthcare delivery, provide a more conducive environment for patients and health workers, and improve access to quality care for surrounding communities.

The project reflects Lekki LCDA’s continued investment in people-centered development and the belief that healthcare should remain accessible to every resident.

BEYOND THE EVENT, A HUMAN STORY EMERGED

During the Tuberculosis awareness and screening programme held earlier this week in Lekki LCDA, a physically challenged woman arrived at the venue crawling due to the absence of a wheelchair to aid her movement.

Moved by her situation, Engr. Rasaki Bamidele Kasali (MNSE, MNATE), Executive Chairman of Lekki LCDA, has now provided her with a wheelchair to support her mobility and restore a measure of comfort and dignity to her daily life.

Beyond policies and programmes, moments like this remind us that leadership is also about compassion, responsiveness, and paying attention to the needs that often go unnoticed.

LEKKI LCDA HOSTS FOOD & NUTRITION SENSITIZATION & ADVOCACY PROGRAMME 2026

STOP TUBERCULOSIS: FREE TESTING & HEALTH SCREENING IN LEKKI LCDA

Health is a right that must be protected and made accessible to all.

In line with this commitment, Lekki LCDA will host a Tuberculosis (TB) Awareness and Free Medical Outreach focused on early detection, prevention, and community education.

Supported by Her Excellency, Dr. Mrs. Claudiana Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu, and championed locally by Mrs. Ramat Bola Kasali in her capacity as an Ambassador for End Tuberculosis in Lagos State.

Residents are encouraged to get tested, stay informed, and take a step toward better health.

Together, we can stop tuberculosis.

STRENGTHENING COMMUNITY HEALTH THROUGH COLLABORATION

Lekki LCDA, in partnership with the Lagos State Health Management Agency (LASHMA) and EKOSHA, will host a Community Engagement and Stakeholders Meeting aimed at deepening awareness on accessible and inclusive healthcare for residents.

The engagement will bring together traditional rulers, community leaders, market women, artisan groups, and civil servants to discuss the importance of community-based health insurance, collective participation, and strategies towards achieving universal health coverage across our communities.

RBK VISITS NURSING MOTHER AT LEKKI LCDA HEALTH CENTRE, CELEBRATES SAFE DELIVERY OF NEWBORN

A moment of compassion and shared joy as Engr. Rasaki Bamidele Kasali (MNSE, MNATE), Executive Chairman of Lekki LCDA, paid a heartfelt visit to a nursing mother who recently welcomed a baby at the Health Centre within the Council Secretariat.

The Chairman congratulated the mother on the safe delivery, offered prayers and warm wishes for the newborn, and presented a token of support to celebrate the arrival of the child.

The visit reflects the administration’s people-centered approach and commitment to the wellbeing of residents and families within Lekki LCDA.
